MG/Rover have taken the Rover 25, and made a driver's car out of it. They removed a fair amount of the noise damping material between the engine and the driver, so you can actually hear what's going on - not common in modern cars. The suspension is very firm, which gives the car a sure-footed feel, although might not be as popular with passengers who expect comfort. :) I drove the 1.6-engined model, which is powerful at high revs, although perhaps not as torquey as I'd like (though I didn't really get much of a chance to test this).
