A car similar in spirit to the Golf GTI MkII (qv), with added removable targæ
top, mid-mounted boxer engine and flip-up lights. The engine (by VW) sounds better
than your normal in-line 4, and its mid-mounted position gives sure handling,
especially with the Porsche-designed suspension. Brakes require plenty of
effort.
