March 2001

Friday March 5th, 2001

Hooray! TurlCam! (though it will only be online sometimes, when my laptop is plugged into the camera.

Monday March 12th, 2001

"This week, I have mostly been drawing sketches."

Tuesday March 13th, 2001

Met Lucy for lunch, then we spent a leisurely afternoon including sketches, anime and the Harry Potter trailer. Sugoi! Ureshii desu. Or something like that :-).

Went to Café Scientifique this evening, to hear Professor Kevin Warwick talk about "When will cyborgs rule the world?", followed by a question and answer session. Interesting stuff.

Wednesday March 14th, 2001

Spent today scaring myself with last year's finals papers.

Going to see Chocolat at the Phoenix tonight by way of relief, though.

Chocolat Mini-review:
A sweet film (ho ho), and enjoyable stuff, provided you're not insisting on a rock-solid plot. A slightly Americanised charicature of post-war europe. Loads of gratuitous chocolate shots, too :-)

Saturday March 17th, 2001

Went to Neve's 21st this evening, curry at Jamal's (mmm), followed by party at hack.

Sunday March 18th, 2001

Last day in Oxford today, before I head back home to Germany for a week or two.

All packed. Breakfast with Evangelia tomorrow, then off I chug in my car to Cambridge. Then Stansted airport.

Thursday March 22, 2001

Back in Germany now, and revising. Hohum.
